The Saskpower Saskatoon Sutherland Power Line Project has been planned to increase reliability and future growth in the area.

Working in collaboration with the City of Saskatoon and the University of Saskatchewan, Saskpower assessed multiple options for the new power line.

TrueView™ photo simulations were developed using the engineering details lodged as part of the submission in order to ensure that the project was understood by all interested parties. An interactive web portal was also developed so that the TrueView™ photo simulations could be shared easily on the project website and at open house events.

Saskpower is now able to solicit meaningful feedback from all parties based on factual TrueView™ simulations that everyone understands.
