Arizona’s Resolution Copper project is a joint venture between Rio Tinto (55%) and BHP (45%). The ore deposit lies 7000 feet below the earth’s surface and has the potential to supply nearly 25% of US Copper demand. As regulations and science evolve so do the environmental obligations and management methods required to minimize adverse effects on the environment. Exploring ways to work alongside local communities and keep them informed about technical matters relating to the operation was a key consideration in developing this video.
This animation is one example of a larger suite of work developed by Truescape to help Resolution Copper inform communities, regulators, agencies, and all other interested parties about the project’s operational components.
Ultimately, these types of video’s translate the highly technical studies and reports into a format that allows all viewers to understand the project and form opinions based on the facts irrespective of their technical background.
