KC Sahl is a seasoned leader and change-maker with over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy industry and another 15 years in public and private sector management. With a deep understanding of government relations, legal frameworks, regulatory landscapes, business strategy, and finance, KC thrives at bringing people together to drive impactful solutions to complex issues.

A natural connector, KC is known for his ability to foster strong relationships and build consensus across diverse audiences. His passion for collaboration led him to found Offshore Wind Drinks, a global networking community of over 6,000 professionals. He also serves as co-chair of the New York City Offshore Wind Industry Advisory Council and actively contributes as a board member for both the New York City Natural Areas Conservancy and the Environmental Leadership Program (ELP). 

KC believes that authentic stakeholder engagement builds trust, promotes transparency, and most importantly, ensures that infrastructure projects deliver lasting, sustainable benefits while addressing regional needs.

Beyond his professional world, KC is an avid traveller (having explored 43 countries and counting!) and enjoys backpacking adventures with his family. He lives in Manhattan’s Lower East Side with his wife, Paola, and their two sons, Jedediah and Wyatt.
